Complaint Background:
God I hate BT!!! Having no end of trouble with them which I won't go into BUT...when I foolishly returned (last Nov 07) to BT as a phone customer, they offered me better terms on the BB I was already getting. When I asked them why they hadn't informed me about this before they said it was because I hadn't asked!!! They seem to be able to email me every five minutes with every other thing under the sun but not apparently to tell me they could give me (a loyal customer) a cheaper deal! SO... ring the gits and ask them. GOOD LUCK - If they don't resolve my current issue I'm considering it a breach of contract and cancelling. Oh, I demanded compensation too, was offered £20 for all the stress, I asked what was the most she was allowed to offer (some poor girl in an Indian call centre), she said £40 - so I demanded that and got it. Don't know if I was suckered but better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. Anyone else ever got compensation? Could I have stuck out for more?
