I have really just had enough, after waiting for my own flat being homeless at 17 now 22 I was over the moon I just had a baby got a temporary flat in February. Upon veiwing the flat it was okay no palace but there seemed to be quite a few issues with the flat i.e the serious lack of security, there was leaks and damp in my boiler room, the boiler room was cluttered with ex tenants old furniture. There was a toilet in there, a massive bag of large nails it needed to be sorted out.

I asked the lady who showed me the property who is going to deal with these issues, she couldn't tell me. When I went into the actual flat I got dizzy the whole flat was leaning to one side, there were red ants and mice. I didn't want to take the property but they said " IF YOU DON'T TAKE THE PROPERTY YOU WILL BE MAKING YOUSELF INTENTIONALLY HOMELESS" I had a newborn to think about so I had no choice but to take it.

After living there for just over a month I was complaining about the biting red ants the mice and the serious lack of security, as this flat was on a main busy road with alot of drug addicts. Nothing was done then in early April at 4.27AM my front door was violently kicked off and a unknown male entered my home he started shouting and swearing at me which woke my baby who was screaming, he draggesd me by my hair ordering money which I didn't have I was petrified I just pleaded please don't hurt my daughter! he threatened to kill me and was pulling my hair so tight I really thought he was going to kill me. He then rammed my face into the sofa saying "IF YOU TELL ANYONE I WILL KILL YOU, YOU BI&*H!' I havent stayed there since. My whole life has changed I hardly go anywhere alone as I'm too scared.

The police were called they did what they call an investigation and have now closed the case.

So this man ran off with a laptop, my mobile, digital camera and a big piece of my life and he goes free laughing.

Its been about 8 weeks since the aggrevated robbery and I have been staying at a friends house. Westminster still have not rehoused me I wrote a 6 page letter of complaint which I feel was just overlooked, I have phoned them every day they have had a letter from Victim Support Westminster, Social Services, My Health Visitor, My doctor, Crime Prevention Officer,( WHO WAS APPALED AT THE LACK OF SECURITY) and I still have not been moved.


I have now been diagnosed with depression, I'm on anti-depressants, and have been referred to couselling and further assesment for my mental health which have been caused by Westminster doing sweet F A.

Is this Fair????????????
