Complaint Background:
MC Fina are in the buissness of supplying gifts for you to chose when your company want to reward you.After 20 years of service I chose a TV and paid extra so I could have all the buttons and bells.
It was delivered after 4 weeks by a guy in a van who expected my wife to help carry it in. Not suprisingly after installing it we found it was faulty. We then arranged for repair, the repair company duly arrived and after some scratching of heads said they would need to go away and order parts. After another 4 weeks we phoned to be told that the TV was not repairable. We were also told that the particualr tv was no longer stocked. We were then offered alternatives, none of which were any match for the original, on price match sites there was about a £300 difference! They have now spent the last week phoning around the country trying to get the same model. even an e-mail to thier CEO hasn't been answered, perhaps it was because I pointed out his recent speech to industry where he stated that prompt delivery was key to staff loyalty schemes! When I suggested that they upgrade the package to an appropiate TV there was genuine shock that I should suggest this. Even when they do finally pull there finger out I will still be waiting four weeks for delivery again!!
