Complaint Background:
When a shower enclosure and base was delivered from Bath Store I brought in the plumber to fit it. Ah! the door was the wrong size (found out too late by the plumber who had fitted the base and enclosure). After many phone calls Bath Store said they could not supply the correct sized door but send another complete enclosure kit. Hang on - the plumber has fitted the original one and I will have to get the plumber back again to take it out and fit the next one.
No problem - the Bath Store manager would phone and agree compensation.
Six months later - after several phone calls and unanswered letters - nothing.
The brand new enclosure (without doors) that has not been collected by Bath Store goes to the dump tomorrow and I will use "callsmayberecorded" for a phone call next week.

Hi,

I'm sorry that you've had a bad experience with these guys as I have to say that Sam from the Newmarket branch as been an absolute gem. Although some of my bathroom suite has had to be returned for one reason or another (not due to Bathstore) she was very quick to get on the case and get my refund so I could purchase elsewhere.

When you call them throw in a few words like 'Trading Standards' and 'Office of Fair Trading' that usually shifts Customer Service Reps up a gear!
