Complaint Background:
This is a general observation based on years of experience...I have never, ever been approached by a sales staff member at a PC World(Mainly the Hove Store). I have been into these establishments many times, and not once has someone asked me if I need assistance or offered any useful advice if I did finally chase one of them and get them to commit to simply talking to me.
What is it about this Company. I simply walk through the door of a Comet for example and get instant attention, but PC World appears to have a non contact policy, never have I seen so many staff desperately trying to do so little, in a tremendously busy manner.
This leads to the question, what is the point of these stores. Unless you know what you want when you enter, you have no chance at all of any form of IT enlightenment!
So why do these 'mortar' retail outlets actually exist paying 50 salaries per store when you get better advice and service from a website????
I'll be damned if I know.
